Print inspiration is everywhere so new ideas are constantly written down! The scraps of paper, cocktail napkins, and scattered notebooks are assembled into one document and standouts are chosen for a collection. Then comes brainstorming, mood boards, sketches and color palettes!

The arrival of print samples is an exciting day with breath-holding and delight or disappointment. These samples allow us to see designs on fabric to judge color, scale, and how the collection interacts. This means editing and resampling, editing and resampling... until everything looks perfect.

Our dress fabric is 100% certified organic North Carolina cotton that is printed using a process to ensure brilliant lasting color. We scoured vendors to find a local eco-friendly fabric in a weight that we would be happy wearing year-round.

Sewing takes place in the Carolinas with an amazing attention to detail and craftsmanship. We love that not only do our prints celebrate the South, but they're made in the South too.

Returns and Exchanges

Borough accepts returns and exchanges on purchases made directly through our website as long as the product is not visibly worn or damaged and is returned within 30 days of purchase. When returning or exchanging your purchase, return shipping is free.
